Why does America intervene in Arabic and Islamic interior affairs?

  1. Hello Hania,

The US doesn't just intervene in the affairs of Arabic and Muslim countries - it attempts to intervene in the affairs of many different countries.

In the last several years, the US has been very involved in the affairs of the Ukraine, Georgia and Serbia, which aren't Arab or Muslim majority. On the other hand, the US hasn't intervened in Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia or Sudan which are all Arab and/or Muslim.

The US likes to influence what is happening in the world. Sometimes this is good and sometimes it is bad. The war in Iraq is an example of a very bad intervention. But the US pushed Egypt and Israel to make peace and that was good for both countries. I hope that the US can make Israelis and Palestinians sit down and find a solution too.
